About Us

Willow Kids Club offers a play-based environment where   children learn, grow, and connect through hands-on experiences and imaginative play. We believe play is essential to development, so our program encourages creativity, problem-solving, and social skills in a relaxed and supportive setting. Children are given the freedom to explore their interests through games, group activities, and open-ended play, all while being guided by caring staff who prioritize safety and inclusion. This approach helps children build confidence, develop friendships, and enjoy learning in a way that feels natural and fun.

Join the Adventure!

Join the Willow Kids Club family, where play is at the heart of everything we do. Our play-based environment invites children to learn naturally through exploration, imagination, and hands-on fun. Each day is filled with engaging activities that spark creativity, encourage friendships, and let children experience the joy of learning through play.

Children’s Voice and Leadership

At Willow Kids Club, children are at the heart of everything we do. We believe that when children feel listened to, involved, and empowered, they flourish — socially, emotionally, and creatively. That’s why we build genuine opportunities for children to shape their club experience and take on meaningful leadership roles.

 Club Council

Our Club Council gives children a real say in how the club runs.

Children can volunteer or be nominated to represent their peers, gathering ideas and suggestions to bring to regular council meetings.

Through the Club Council, children help to:

•     Choose new resources and activities
•     Suggest improvements to play spaces
•     Plan themed weeks and special events
•     Share feedback on what’s working well

This helps children understand teamwork, responsibility, and the value of their own voice.

Buddy System

Starting something new can feel big — so we make sure no child has to do it alone.

Our Buddy System pairs new or younger children with friendly, confident peers who help them settle in.
Buddies support others by:

•     Showing them around the club
•     Helping them join games and activities
•     Offering reassurance and friendship
•     Modelling kindness and inclusion

It’s a simple idea that makes a huge difference to children’s confidence and sense of belonging.

 Play Coordinators

Some children love to take the lead — and we love to give them the chance.

Our Play Coordinators help shape the play environment by supporting staff and encouraging others to get involved.

Play Coordinators may:
•     Help set up activities and games
•     Introduce rules or demonstrate how to play
•     Encourage children who are unsure or new
•     Suggest new ideas for play and resources

The role rotates so that many children can experience leadership in a fun, supportive way.
